Vietman

Vietnam is very hot. We arrived last night at around 10 p.m. and it was still 31 degrees out. Today it is to reach about 38 degrees and with the humidity it feels like 51 degrees. A bit on the warm side. Sweat just pours off of you and it drains you pretty quickly. You can't stay outside for too long because it is so hot so you walk and shop for a bit and then hide out in a nice air conditioned place and have a cold drink and head out again. Traffic is...........the only way I can explain it is organized chaos. Motorbikes everywhere and they go wherever. Amongst the motorbikes and vehicles are pedal bikes. I am surprised that we haven't seen an accident yet.

Here are a few pictures of our fist day in Vietnam.

  6. You'd think after being there a few days, you'd learn how to spell the name of the country.... unless that's what they call it over there... "Viet Man"... or maybe that's the kind of guy you're on the lookout for... ;-)

Big day back in Saskabush... 5 new babes in Saskatoon, one pillar finished his course in Moosemin hospital at 57 years old....
