Headed to Dagmar Convention this past week. It was a soggy one but great days. We had experiences every turn of the way. The further south we went the wetter and wetter it got. Only about 40% is seeded in Montana with no hope of getting any more in. They are seeing ducks that have never made Montana their home before. We saw lots of Ring Necked Phesants. They are terribly hard to get a picture of as they move like the wind. One day we watched about 4 inches of rain pour down and along with that a 90km wind. Needless to say that was the end of trying to put up the tent. It blew over and Billie-Jean and I were mud from head to toe. Then one day I enjoyed having taco salad and milk spilled all over me. What else happened, oh ya thanks to my courier days I got us out of a very muddy spot without getting stuck. Will post some pictures. Oh ya left the lights on once and the batter drained in the car. Oh ya went to back up one day and we hear this grinding noise......something.......I'm hoping part of the mud flap fell down. Stuck it back up numerous times and hope to get that fixed this week. Some experience I tell you but I am sure we will eventually look back and laugh instead of cry. Border crossing was lots of fun. Going into the States and it just being 2 girls in the car that is loaded up to the roof they looked at us strangely. But we made it through. No problem getting back into Canada though. They didn't even look through the trunk coming back. Friday the day of the terrible wind and rain I got a good picture of what they sky looked like. Posting it. We did see some trees.....big ones blown over and uprooted. We saw whitecaps in ditches on fields. I took a picture of a muskrat....not so strange but he is enjoying himself swimming around in a field. On our way home we stopped at Mortlach at Billie's Uncle's place and Arriana was going to go home with her so she was all buckled in to the car ready for the trip. Too funny. She wasn't so happy when her mom came and took her out of the car.
